They went behind early against Georgia in the last 16, Germany equalised with time almost up in quarter-finals, then France hit them early in the semis.
But each time Spain came back, Rodri equalising and steadying the ship vs Georgia, Mikel Merino’s last gasp header vs the Germans, Lamine Yamal sticking the ball in the top corner against France…
And now Oyarzabal with the late winner in the final.
So different from the Spain teams who controlled their way to trophies a decade ago, but just as impressive and much more exciting!
